Throughout the school, we have continued to develop the love for reading with the reinforcement of accelerated reader. This builds the self-independence in each of the children to read confidently and allows them to take ownership of their own reading journey. Each year group has access to Accelerated Reader, which also tracks the children’s reading age and informs the pupils of the right books to read at their specific level. The children have a variety of engaging books to read where they take quizzes on their book and move up to higher levels.
